We live in a world of modern convinces and fast-paced results. Yet, our body's lymphatic system moves slowly, methodically, and skillfully. This book gives the modern human in this go go go world a clear, fun, impactful, and easy to use tools to keep us healthy, happy, and whole. I am thrilled to be sharing this resource with all of you and why having this book at home is a game-changer for your health. I recommend this book to almost all of my clients and use its practices daily in my self-care. Inside these pages, you will easily learn all about our lymphatic system, how to practice safe personal care through self lymphatic massage, health education/suggestions, and specific information for lymphedema care. What I practice is what is called Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage, it's an amazing way to keep your lymph system moving healthfully. However, if you are experiencing lymphedema, currently in radiation or chemotherapies, or have any major health condition it is best to find a CLT ( certified lymphademia therapist) in your area. They have specific education to help you do your best and hopefully recover. There is an excellent reference guide in the back of the book to help your search and one that I share with clients who reach out with this request. I plan on becoming a CLT myself one day, hopefully soon. In the meantime, this book in combination with medical supervision can help you feel you're best through that process. This book is not just for those with major health concerns, it is for everyone! The specific practices are targeted for anyone who experiences, headaches, indigestion, limb and muscle soreness, stress, anxiety, athletes, breast care, sinus congestion, hangovers, PMS, pregnancy/postnatal care, and for anyone who seeks to help their body perform its best. The self-care sequences are easy to follow, educational and a joy to practice. The way I choose to practice is by doing one of the sequences for a week and recording my experiences. I have been amazed at just how helpful these practices have been.
